Kychon is an open-source community portal template built on the Run402 serverless platform. Kychon provides the template code, AI build tools (Kychon Studio), and ongoing AI customization (Kychon Pro). Run402 provides the underlying infrastructure - database, authentication, file storage, and hosting. Kychon is operated by Kychee, Inc.
By using Kychon - including deploying a portal, purchasing a Studio build, or subscribing to Kychon Pro - you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The Kychon template is open-source software. You may copy, modify, and use it freely under its license terms. The open-source template is provided as-is, without warranty. Kychee, Inc. is not obligated to provide support for self-hosted copies.
Kychon offers three tiers:
Run402 hosting is billed separately through Run402. All Kychon payments are non-refundable. There are no per-member fees.
You retain all rights to the content, data, and customizations in your portal. Kychee, Inc. does not claim any ownership of your content. You grant us only the limited rights necessary to provide the service.
Kychon Studio and Kychon Pro use AI to generate and modify portal code. Kychee, Inc. does not review, audit, or verify every line of AI-generated code. You are responsible for reviewing and testing your portal before use - particularly before collecting sensitive member data or processing payments.
You agree not to use Kychon to host, deploy, or facilitate any of the following:
Your portal will collect data from your members (names, emails, profiles, etc.). You are the data controller for all member data in your portal. Kychon and Run402 act as data processors on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring your portal complies with applicable privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and for communicating your own privacy practices to your members.
Kychon is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kychee, Inc. and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of Kychon.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid to Kychee, Inc. for Kychon services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kychee, Inc. and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: your use of the service, your portal content, your members' data, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
Kychee, Inc. may suspend or terminate your access to Studio or Pro services - without prior notice or refund - for violation of the Acceptable Use Policy, security risks, legal requirements, or fraud.
Kychee, Inc. complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512). If you believe content hosted on a Kychon portal infringes your copyright, send a DMCA takedown notice to: dmca@kychee.com
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made. Continued use of Kychon after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
If any provision of these terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Kychee, Inc. regarding Kychon.
